“The day the game didn’t get played.”

I hope I’m quoting him correctly. There was a really nice worker that was talking to us as we walked by. He said something cool along that line and but it’s been a lot of days since that day so I can’t remember it exactly. I wish I asked his name.

Everything started out great, we were happy with our seats, we had a good view, no one was sitting in front of us, Steven Adams was hanging around the corner on our side… they just seem to be running late.

We were waiting and waiting. The half-time entertainment came out and other entertainment came out, and it was a lot of fun and we were having a good time and then…

Booo!

Really no other explanation than that. I was half expecting people to start rioting and throwing things but everyone got up quietly and left. Thunder fans are great like I said before. I had to text my sister and ask her what was going on and why. She’s an expert on all things Thunder so of course she knew.

On the way back to the car we passed by a Monster truck. The drink, not the giant trucks that are used for show. They were giving people a free energy drink. I’m strictly soda, not energy so I didn’t take one. The guys were friendly and it was a nice way to end the night.
