HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

I know you know that I love my family. And I’m never going to stop telling you that I do. They’ve always shown me that they love me and since I’m not great at showing or accepting love, it seems like I’m not appreciative at times. And to remind you, they never let me feel like I’m not loved. They’re the BEST.

This birthday I wasn’t feeling my best, I wasn’t even feeling all right. I dropped into a depression back in January and it’s been 5 months so shouldn’t it be gone away by now? Anyway, my birthday was on a Tuesday and I was just expecting to stay home with my sadness doing nothing because that’s all I felt capable of.

Not in my family. I got a wonderful surprise when E&T came over to decorate my place for my party on game night and I got a birthday sash and tiara! And because I’m always going on about disco balls, that’s the theme they chose.

Here’s me on my actual birthday in my pajamas getting to be the birthday queen.

All dressed up in my Dir En Grey sleep shirt and leggings-cut-into-shorts, tiara and sash, I was ready to go! They drove me around a bit after decorating and I can’t tell you how much better I felt.

I’m so lucky to have them.
