I’ve been to sooo many tattoo shops, not for myself, but with others when they get theirs. I like to pretend I’m a tattoo shop judge. I go around to see who has the best atmosphere and best seating. I am sitting there for hours sometimes. It’s ok, because it’s gives me a chance to read or work on something if I’m alone or just hang out if I’m not.

I also like it when the artists are a bit accommodating to the guests (that would be me). They’ll get you a chair so you can sit near the person you’re with while they get tattooed, offer you candy or snacks or just let you look through their tattoo books even though you’re not getting one.
